Hidden Dog FenceAn underground dog fence is a dog containment fence that uses a buried wire to form a boundary, or perimeter around a specific area. The boundary wire carries a signal which is picked up by a receiver collar that the dog wears around the neck. As the dog approaches the boundary, the collar will pick up the signal from the wire and begin to notify the dog. Methods of alerting the dog can range from vibration, beeping to varying degrees of static shock. Many models of underground dog fence feature the ability to tune the correction levels to your dog.
